Agenda:
For starters, let’s recognize the important people in our lives. For me, I have all of you to thank for being such amazing students and making this a fantastic year, despite all the craziness with school closures, etc.
You are some of the best students that a teacher could ask for and I am grateful and honored to have spent this last with each and every one of you.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you, I adore you all and appreciate you so much more than you could ever possibly know.
In that same vein of celebration, let’s take a moment to honor others as well --such as good ‘ol Dad. I am proposing an art/writing challenge for you in honor of Father’s Day.
Art:
Make a card for Dad to honor him with a sweet and kind sentiment. There are some quote and template options for card making that I am providing for you in order to be able to make a card.
Writing:
Print out the Fill in the blank Father’s Day Letter. Be creative and express your heartfelt appreciation for Dad.
Reading:
We will be reviewing inferences for our last day. Making inferences is an important skill to have in reading because it demonstrates understanding of what is going on.
Making an inference is the ability to make up your own mind about what is going on without having to be told by an author.
Thinking for yourself is certainly a very good life skill to have. Today we will specifically focus on making inferences in reading for increased reading comprehension
Provided below is a video. Follow the link posted for you to get started.
Science:
In today’s review I have provided another link for you for the Taiga Biome as well as a video on the brown bear, its adaptive qualities and nature of life within its natural habitat of the Taiga biome.
