Email Mrs. Lee for questions about the lesson

We are more than halfway through the week. Let’s keep pushing forward. Here we go. Watch the agenda posted below or within your virtual classroom.
***IMPORTANT- some of the videos through VIMEO have not been coming out with sound. If this occurs, check back here at this site as I will also include my downloaded video original as a backup option.
Hopefully, this resolves that problem. Thanks! (Note- all videos should have sound.)
Vocabulary:
Take the next two words on your list, rode and road and map them out on your Word Web.
Grammar:
For grammar, you will be learning about possessive pronouns as indicated in today’s agenda. If you have not done so already, refer back to the agenda and preview the instruction given specifically for this grammar topic addressing possessive pronouns
Then once you are done watching my instruction, click on the link below (or they can be found within the virtual classroom).
Reading:
Percy has escaped, but what just happened in the Underworld? Was Percy set up and if so, by whom?
There are so many questions and so few answers. These mysteries must be solved, but we have little time as the Summer Solstice is on the horizon… along with a burning city.
Is it too late? Will Percy Jackson be able to pull through?
Let’s find out…
Science:
For Science we will continue on our exploration of the various biomes. Today, as promised we will explore the Taiga Biome.
***In addition, you still need to be charting the Phases of the Moon nightly and keeping a track or log of the different phases from Full Moon to New Moon for a total of 28 days minimum. (This should only take you a few minutes nightly).
Math:
Our learning objective is Long Division. You will notice that the numbers are getting progressively larger--hence the term “long division”.
***Of particular importance is the last step in the division song, “...then bring it on back,” which is to say that you start the process over again after you have brought down another number to be divided by the divisor.
In many long division problems you will have multi-digit quotients (or answers), so it is also important to keep your columns lined up.
Watch the tutorials to refresh and then get started.
