Hello Parents and Guardians,

Enclosed is the school's newsletter. It has the normal information you need and we’ve decided to include a little extra.

Many parents have called or emailed me asking questions about vaccinating your children. To those I haven’t personally responded to, I apologize. In order to give our community a thoughtful and informed answer to this question, my wife and I have written an article (included in the newsletter) that explains the issue. After reading the article, if you have questions or concerns please let me know. Please also remember that I am neither a scientist nor a public health expert. I can only answer questions through the lens of a school administrator or I can simply tell you what I’ve heard.

Finally, we wanted to let you know about a way you can help those affected by the recent dramatic weather. Da Vinci Tree staff members are volunteering to donate blood at the Red Cross Blood Drive happening this Saturday at Saint Matthew’s church. We wanted to invite parents and guardians to join us. Even if it is in a small way, we’re grateful to be able to help those who’ve been struggling without power.

Kind Regards,
