Welcome to Week 2 Day 1! I miss you all so much! Head on over to my place and let’s get started. That’s right, for the remainder of our online school time, I will be conducting school out of my home. To get to me, watch the video below!
Week 2 Day 1 Agenda
**** SUPER IMPORTANT****
Before beginning any Khan Academy Activities, you will need to log in with your student account number so that you will get credit for the work you have done. That way I can enter your grades and track your progress. All student log-in access numbers were emailed out to you and your family approximately one week ago. ALWAYS use that when on the Khan Academy site and prior to finishing your assignments.
For everything else, (the supplemental worksheets that are not assigned through Khan Academy), you can email those to me AND my TA Levi at: CLee@davincitree.academy AND dvtalbremer@gmail.com . Also note, that you can complete the Khan Academy tutorials and assignments as many times as needed to obtain mastery. I will get sent an update and overview of how that is going for you, but it will not negatively affect your grade. In fact, in doing so, it will boost the grade. So, the more you practice, the better you will do ;)

Vocabulary:
Familiarize yourself with your new Vocab Word List. To do that, take the time and write each word (using correct spelling) 3x. Then write 5 of each of the plural words from your list and put them into sentences. Finally, the last VOCAB activity is to take the first word from your list and use it to fill out the WORD WEB worksheet. The word web can be downloaded at the bottom of this page!
Grammar:
Welcome Back! Let’s jump into learning starting with grammar. For today’s lesson, go to Khan Academy (make sure you are logged in) and strengthen your skills with identifying and using Articles of speech correctly. Follow the links below and then fill out the corresponding Article Worksheet(s).

Disclaimer: this video ends abruptly. My dogs thought someone was at the door, even though it was just me knocking on the desk. Please understand, my dogs think they are tasked with the very important job of policing the house—so, to make a long story short, I will pick back up on our next read where the dogs left off today….. Today we will continue to practice Multiplying using the Distributive Property. We will do this by multiplying 3 and 4 digits by 1 digit. The goal here is to use the same concepts and methods on even bigger numbers. Follow the link to Khan Academy, (log in) and then get started on the assignment posted below!
