Vocabulary:
Let’s review the rule for silent “e” with the vowel O.
To do this, watch the youtube video posted below.
Then smile, and write out each of your Vocabulary words into a sentence. (ha, ha… I just used one of your Vocabulary words in a sentence. Smile:).
P.S. Make sure that the spelling is correct.
Writing:
For writing today I’d like you to consider the quote from the Declaration of Independence that, “all men are created equal”.
Address the following:
What do you think this quote meant for the time period it was written? (ie; the late 1700’s)
What does this quote mean currently in the year 2020?
How have our feelings, the law, and a person's rights, regarding equality changed over time?
