Welcome to Week 3 Day 3. It’s hump day… but we are more than halfway through our week. Keep up the momentum. We’ve got this.

Reading
Today I will continue where we left off in the Lightning Thief.
When Percy, Annabelle and Grover escaped the Lotus Hotel and Casino, I felt a huge amount of weight come off of my shoulders. I sighed a great big puff of air, and realized I could breathe just a little bit easier. My shoulders weren’t drawn tight and my neck and shoulders were relaxed and I felt less tension in my muscles.
Can you make an inference about how I was feeling before they escaped the Lotus Hotel and Casino?
Well, if you said uptight, nervous, anxious, etc… then you would be correct. Good job at reading between the lines and putting two and two together.
However, we have a new problem now. There is only one day left until the Summer Solstice. That’s right, Percy has only 1 day left to get to the underworld, retrieve the master bolt and save the world from World War III.
Can he do it? Let’s find out...
