Welcome back to your second day of week 5 online school. Click on the link below and I will guide you through today’s agenda. (All passwords are: 123)
Vocabulary
Attached you will find a worksheet for you to complete. (download at the bottom of the page)
Simply follow the instructions as both posted at top as well as demonstrated to you on today’s video.
There are a total of 4 steps: STEP 1. You will write the word STEP 2. define the word (indicating also the part of speech) STEP 3. use the word in a sentence and finally, STEP 4. write the word in cursive.
***As always, make sure you are spelling it correctly.
Reading
Let’s find out what is going on with Percy Jackson and his friends. We will continue our adventure with The Lightning Thief.
For Reading comprehension, I’d like you to think about making a “text connection”.
Some examples of various connections I’d like you to consider are: Can you relate to the main character in any way? Is this story similar to anything you’ve ever read or experienced before?
Simply click the link below to get started on our journey and don’t forget to be thinking about and answering those text connection questions as we are reading along.
(Hint- I will have a follow-up writing activity coming up tomorrow and you will need to be able to answer at least one of these questions and write about it).

Then you will learn how to divide a 3-4 digit number by a one digit number.
