Agenda:

We are over the hump and well on our way.  Set the remotes to “cruise control” and let's enjoy the last few remaining days of this week.

Click the link to see a quick overview of today’s activities.

Vocabulary:

Homophone words to be written out 3x each (previous words: bored, board, principle, principal, weather, whether).  Word map set of new words- weather and whether.

Reading:

The Lightning Thief read aloud.

Science:

As we continue to look up in the sky, I want you to remain curious and observant.  Continue to chart and map out the phases of the moon.

Label the shapes that you see (from Full Moon to New Moon and back again through both waning and waxing phases).

As we are looking up day and night, we need to be aware of what is there and the role it plays in the delicate balance of life.

Today we will pay attention to the Sun’s role and learn about how this energy source, the Sun, affects the ecosystems down below.

Whether on land, or in the sky, we need to keep our Science minds watching, ever questioning and learning.   In this way, we can be aware of what is going on around us and how all things are interconnected.
