A new week will give us a new start.  Let us dig in and learn as much as we can.

Vocabulary

With a new week,  also comes a new vocabulary list.  Provided for you is a worksheet to fill out.  Write each new word 3x and then map out the first two  using your Word Web. 

Grammar:

Today we will be learning about relative pronouns.  The “who’s who” of pronouns so to speak (ie; who, whom, which, and that).  You will need to know when to use each.  

We will learn more about relative pronouns and various rules regarding their usage.  Then you will have a chance to practice a bit on your own.

Reading:

So many things were left undone.  How will The Lightning Thief end?  Has Percy returned to Half Blood Hill?  Also, Percy’s mother has been left with a box and powerful means to “take care of” and “get rid of” Gabe.  Let’s check in to see what the outcome of these decisions are.

We will continue with division word problems, this time estimating the quotient with these word problems.
